damaged Damaged The device is damaged. inactive
destroyed Destroyed The device is destroyed. inactive
available Available Device is fully operational, meets all safety/performance requirements, and is ready for immediate use.
in-use In Use Device is currently assigned to and actively being used for a patient, procedure, or task.
reserved Reserved Device is allocated for a future procedure or patient but not yet in active use.
cleaning Cleaning Device is undergoing cleaning or disinfection and cannot be used.
sterilizing Sterilizing Device is in a sterilization process required before reuse.
maintenance Maintenance Device is undergoing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance or repair.
calibration Calibration Device is being calibrated or verified for accuracy/performance.
charging Charging Device is unavailable due to battery recharge cycle.
faulty Faulty Device has a known malfunction or defect and is not safe for use.

out-of-service Out of Service Device is intentionally removed from availability without a specific operational workflow.
retired Retired Device has been permanently removed from service but may still exist physically.
disposed Disposed Device has been permanently discarded or destroyed.
lost Lost Device cannot be located and is not available for use.
in-transit In Transit Device is being transported between locations and is not available for use.
received-not-ready Received, Not Ready Device has been received but not yet inspected, configured, or approved for use.
unknown Unknown Device availability is not determined.
